So, I got my first paycheck from my new job and treated myself to a new bag, (cheap) perfume, and some eye shadow.  I'm really excited about all my girly stuff!  (I think I keep buying the SAME shade of eyeshadow, though.  I need to get out of my eyeshadow box, man.)  I took Chris and I out to eat a couple times, and bought groceries, too.  It was fun being able to spend my own money.  We had a great weekend together.  It's a little bittersweet, because this is our last two day weekend together for a while since my new schedule out of training will be Sunday - Thursday. 

Okay, night night.  Here comes Monday morning. 

Maybe those of you from Phoenix can help me.  What is that AMAZING scent in the air??  It smells like jasmine to me, but I don't see jasmine around whenever I smell it.  It's light and floral and musky smelling and it pervades the air in most parts of the city from what I've noticed.  I'm in love with it!

My time here with Chris has been wonderful so far.  We've had our stresses, like my inability to find employment despite applying for nearly 100 jobs, and being worried about our future financially, but I have hope that I'll find employment soon.  Chris has been amazing.  He's so caring and loving.  I feel bad that I'm not able to contribute financially yet, but he has been really understanding about it.

I have an interview tomorrow with an insurance company.  Wish me luck.
